So it was an exciting weekend w. a full weekend of trick or treating and well its a good thing it happened all weekend or lil' man Jake wouldn't have participated!! Well we joined friends at church Friday night all dressed up for their fall festival. Then Saturday night we dressed the kids up and headed to the mall for some trick or treating....then Sunday was the actual NIGHT for trick or treating... Well Mr. Jake has decided that he is not giving in b/c he is so STUBBORN! He got in trouble for writing on the hardwood floors w.a crayon. He insists on not apologizing so he took a spanking from his dad. He cried so hard and ran to his room. I later went in his room b/c he slammed his door shut and asked him----Jake you need to tell daddy your sorry so you can go trick or treating.....he said NO! I am mad at daddy and don't care if I go trick or treating...then proceeded to continue to cry until he fell asleep! WOW-my 2 yr old is so stubborn already that he would rather miss trick or treating rather than to apologize to his parents for his wrong doing....boy my days are really going to be cut out for me in the future w. this little boy!!!

As I was trimming out Lillyanna 1st school picture tonight I got goose bumps. I know it's her pic,but when I turned it to the side I had to double take b/c I thought it was my pic!!!Ha I know that she does look like me when I was a child, but I don't always see it. However, tonight made me realize, she really does look just like me, she just has brown hair! ----and speaking of hair. Everyone in my family, my mom, my sister, my sister's daughter, Elizabeth, my aunts, my cousin, most have blond hair like me. Even Craig's bro. wife, Taylor has blond hair too, not to mention Lillyanna's little bro;Jake. So Lillyanna thinks blond hair is beautiful and she hates her dark brown hair. I have to tell her how beautiful her hair is att, so I dread the days she asks my to die it blonder. Even this summer she was in the sun a lot, so it started turning blond and she was ecstatic!!! And it gets lighter att. It's just hard to believe a 5 yo could have such a complex about hair. She only picks the blond barbies and baby dolls. So this summer for her birthday, she got her 1st AMERICAN GIRL DOLL besides the bitty twins, which she picked both to have blond hair- I purposely gave her the dark hair doll- and I continue to tell her how beautiful she is w.that gorgeous dark hair. SO when we got her pics in I am reminded of her beautiful dark hair-its so much prettier than my hair ever could be -even if she doesn't appreciate it ,now I hope one day she will learn to LOVE IT!!

Since I've started sewing, here are a few things I have made....

After being told that I am not an active blogger this weekend, I decided that I need to get w.it! So I am getting back in the game.

I thought being a SAHM, that I would have all the time in the world to do all this active computer stuff, and I don't! So I have decided to take one day a week at least to share my thoughts and Ideas w. my friends.

I am so excited about being part of Jr. League of Fort Smith and decorations committee this yr, since its my love!-If you live close I would love to see you there this year, and I hope next year to have my own booth, as so many have requested me to do a wreath or painting booth! I now have a year to plan!
